Centrifugal microencapsulation has been shown to be a promising encapsulation technique, satisfying at the same time many requirements needed for biomedical applications (monodispersity, controlled size, spherical shape, sterile production environment) and allowing high capsules rate, using only conventional lab material. Another important advantage of this technology is ability process highly viscous biopolymer solutions. The usage such solutions desirable in multiple applications, because they yield with improved mechanical properties (stiffness strength) optimised porosity, which increases immunoprotection case biomaterial applied cell therapy enhances prolonged dissolution behaviour drug delivery applications.
